The Business Partner Programme
To provide mentoring and coaching from West London employers to employment service providers' managers and delivery staff
Programme Activity:
Objectives:
To pilot a Business Partner mentoring and coaching scheme across West London which will:
- Improve the performance and capacity of employment services and training providers by using West London businesses to provide management and leadership support, coaching and mentoring To support their organisation and delivery staff
- Allow providers to become more employer focussed
Achievements:
- 19 West London employability providers were partnered with 15 businesses. They were supported through one to one mentoring, coaching and a series of workshops
- Partners fedback that the programme met their reasons for participating
- The production of a Business Partner Toolkit giving those interested in running a similar programme the means to do so
