Investment and Target Group

To implement West London Working's vision through joint investment plans and target setting

Programme Activity:

• Investment and Target Group Summary and Lessons Learned - March 2011

Objectives:

• Improve co-ordination and informed decision making
• Drive development of provider base
• Improve personalisation

Deliverables:

• Regular forum of WLW's funders of skills & employment services
• Joint Investment Planning
• Employment of a Policy Analyst to interpret & disseminate West London Management Information & detail service supply and  demand
• Structured mechanism for Confederation Members, Local Authorities & Employers to feedback on any gaps or duplication of West London services.

Achievements:

• Bimonthly forum of WLW's funders of skills and employment services established from December 2007
• Produced contract register with details of investment in West London skills and employment services
• Co-ordinated successful bids for the Future Jobs Fund and New Pathways for Work ESF Transnational Project
• Contributed to DWP commissioning process, including commenting on specifications, bids and performance
