West London Local Information
West London Working and the six West London Local Authorities have collated information on their local area that will assist bidders for the Work Programme and London's 11-13 ESF programme. Information includes Borough profiles, key employers, partnerships and local developments and initiatives. In February 2011 this information was updated and expanded to also includes details of specialist local provison and potential outreach venues such as Children's Centres, Libraries, Community Hubs and One Stop Shops.
Spatial Priorities - Opportunity Areas
These documents provide a snapshot of the strategically important opportunities and challenges of each of 33 Opportunity Area (OA) designations set out in the Consultation draft Replacement London Plan October 2009, and set the context for public sector investment to support their growth. 7 of the opportunity areas are in West London: Wembley, Park Royal, Heathrow, Cricklewood and Brent Cross, Southall, Earls Court and West Kensington, and White City.

The Observatory Work Programme pages
The London Skills and Employment Observatory has launched a series of webpages on the Work Programme which pulls together resources, expert information and all the latest news. The link to the website can be found here.
Provider Contact Database
We have created a contact database, on an excel file that you can download, of Prime Contractors and West London providers that are interested in delivering as part of the Work Programme or for London's new ESF Programme.
Work Programme Costing Tool
Rocket Science has developed a Work Programme costing tool which allows sub-contractors to work out their cash flow based on offers they receive from Prime Contractors. You can download the tool which is based on excel here and follow the instructions on the first page.
Work Programme Financial Modelling Tool
Inclusion have recently launched a Work Programme financial modelling tool. The Inclusion model allows users to profile claimants joining the Work Programme and measure the financial implications. It also enables providers to enter prospective costs of provision and patterns of programme duration for Work Programme groups of clients, given a range of possible Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) price structures.
